Years ago, I started college (as an adult) in a two-year physical therapy program. I chose it for strictly pragmatic reasons: it was of short duration, and it would garner a larger paycheck (I already had a young family to support).
However, I ended up earning an associate degree in Liberal Arts because...I was interested in everything and couldn't settle on just one. Many years after that, I went back to school (again) and obtained a bachelor's degree in public relations. It was one of four available that offered night classes and could be completed in two years. It was also flexible enough to satisfy the requirement of a college degree for a wider variety of vocations (because I still couldn't decide on just one!) 🤣
I'm currently researching local colleges and universities that offer free classes for seniors. No homework, no tests, etc., just sitting in on lectures.
That's why I enjoy your posts. They cover a wide variety of topics condensed into bite-sized articles. When something strikes my fancy, I look up further information. I've acquired lots of new and interesting facts about the world we live in, thanks to Zanepost!
I'm what they call a lifelong learner, and your posts always add to my knowledge repertoire, so thank you. I look forward to reading more.
I cannot thank you enough for your kind comments and for support. It means a lot to me. Thanks for sharing your personal learning journey! Even as we age, curiosity can be our guide. It's so important to stay engaged and to try to understand our complex world.
