My experience with e-bikes has largely on the Iron Horse trail-and I have noticed that a large number of e-bike riders don not follow cycling etiquette. Namely using a bell when approaching from behind. They are silent, very fast, and far heavier than a traditional bike. I have not been hit ,yet but regardless of where the onus lies on safety responsibility-the pedestrian suffers.
