I understand how creativity diminishes when we are distracted with other responsibilities, especially the care of elderly parents. That can be stressful and perhaps the sketching is a good substitute for writing and a way to relax.
The creativity will return and perhaps with even more inspiration and ideas due to the experiences of your change in schedule. I also hope for positive outcomes for your parents.
I'm totally with you on the backpack thing! I usually carry a backpack too with my Mac, headphones, water, notebook and all that. But honestly, having it on my back all the time gets annoying, especially in summer when I'm sweating a lot. That's why I've set up my bike, which is my go-to urban ride, even in winter, with a side bag. Game changer 🚲🚲

Thanks for your kindness and your supportive sentiment, Ms. Writer! I greatly appreciate it. 🙂
I don't know how I could cope with reality if I didn't have my backpack.
Actually, my backpack is more a Mary Poppins bag than a backpack.
😄
Sometimes I think you ARE Mary Poppins! 😆
I wish I were!

I am jealous of your bicycle!
It's eking out those light moments in trying times-a good reminder, Renato
Thanks, Marina!
